My biography for the March JMT Live Event! Cannot wait to be in sunny Florida!!

I am a Leadership Development Consultant, Blogger, and Mompreneur. I write a blog called: www.MomOhLogue.com. The blog provides deep thoughts, humor, offers of hope, help, positivity and encouragement to all humans. My Consulting and Coaching business provides assistance to anyone with a goal and a dream.

I am an insightful Human Resources Professional with over 10 years of experience. I have a strong background in varied industries including government, financial services, media, pharmaceutical sales, and retail.

I have a Master of Arts with distinction in Industrial-Organizational Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Labor Studies from Hofstra University.
I was Top 30 Under 30 (in learning industry) in 2011 at the Masie Learning Conference.

In my spare time, I enjoy bonding with my 4 daughters ages 8, 5, 4, and 2 months old. I also enjoy being active in the community; I just successfully organized and ran a fundraiser to support Postpartum Support International (PSI). I also enjoy giving back to my alma mater, Hofstra University and donate regularly to their scholarship program. I am an active member with the Association for Talent Development Long Island chapter and a very active member of my church where I teach religion. 

As a certified speaker/coach/facilitator, I plan to organize and run several of my own leadership development programs as I believe a market exists for this type of training and development in Suffolk County. I plan to continue to organize and run fundraisers and will use everything I learn from the JMT Live Event! I cannot wait to continue my journey, polish my skills, and learn new skills.

The 5 Second Rule by Mel Robbins- an anxiety and panic attack sufferer turned author... 2nd author review for Women's History Month

Mel Robbins, another talented female author, used to suffer from anxiety and had panic attacks on a regular basis. Her solution in the book 5 Second Rule is to reframe your thinking and tell yourself that you are excited instead. I wanted to highlight her book because she is a Life Coach like me and she suffered from mental illness and has been successful... hopefully I will be successful like her. It is encouraging to see many people with mental struggles doing their thing in this world and influencing so many other people. Anyway, let me back up. What is the 5 Second Rule?
