Almost time for weigh in...

So, its almost February 11th, my weigh in date and I'm scared to get on the scale. This past month has been a little hectic. I started a new job, all my kids and myself got sick, and they offer free pizza , bagels,  and cake at work. 80% of the time,  I'm eating salads for lunch and go on walks during lunch for 30 minutes. I have a lot of excuses, I know, but working full time has been a major life change and I do turn to food sometimes for comfort...but this is perfect time to course correct. I have 3-4 months until summer and I want to lose 40 lbs, so I gotta stop the bullshit and start fresh. I need to turn to the gym for comfort or get a quick 15 minute massage to destress instead of eating 6 oreos. I need to get a healthy smoothie or coffee and nourish my soul, not tear down my self esteem with bad toxic food. I have 4 days to work out hard,  stay low carb and regroup myself,  prepare for disappointment on the scale but think positive for the future!

Weight loss truly is a mental thing- you need to constantly monitor yourself so you dont give in to temptations.

Going into the next few months, I will...
1. Weigh myself daily in the morning - I haven't done this and the truth helps you stay on goal

2. Think about where I've come from (lost 30lbs) and think about where I want to be

3. Avoid tempting foods and know its not worth it

4. Eat low carb and avoid crappy foods

5. Walk during lunch every day and go to the gym 4x a week (2-3 weekdays and 1-2 weekend days)

6. Stay positive! Know you can do this!
