My wishes for 2022

I haven't wrote a blog in 16 months! I think my biggest wish going into 2022 is to write more. Nah, of course it's health and happiness for my family and friends but I would enjoy writing more. I have some ideas on interviewing small businesses and writing reviews on here to help promote their business. It's tough these days to stay afloat and if I could help a little and bring positivity to local communities in need, I'd be happy.

I also want to write more about my weight loss journey because since last summer, over these 16 months, I did gain back 25 lbs. It's been tough to lose the 25 I've gained back so I want to use writing to help sort out why I tend to over snack and eat junk when I know its not good for me. I'm sure it's stress and boredom but I'll explore over the next few months as I attempt to lose the weight again.

I'm also turning 40 in 2022 and I want to write about how I plan to celebrate and look back at my life and what I've learned so far.

These past 16 months have been very focused on my kids and trying to stay healthy and normal in this COVID world. We all had covid in March and it was like the flu but we made it through. I just wonder if my kids will ever grow up in a "normal" way again. Wearing masks to school,  quarantine days and all this news about mandatory vaccinations can get ridiculous.

I look forward to 2022 and writing about my kids, weight loss, personal lessons on life and community.

I truly missed blogging! Glad to be back.
