2 months on Noom and loving weight loss results!

It has been a little over 2 months since I started using Noom and I am loving my weight loss results. I lost about 24 lbs in 2 months! I been following the plan with full commitment and exactly as I'm supposed to. Maybe once or twice I went over my daily calories but overall I'm following 100%. Noom was exactly what I needed to help me keep going. I highly recommend this program to anyone who is truly ready and committed. So far, over last 10 months, I've lost 55 lbs! I'm very happy and proud of myself for not giving up. I had many slip ups and it has been hard but I have made lifestyle changes for the better and mentally,  I've learned how to use food for fuel and health and not as emotional support.

In 2016 I had a breakdown in June and it was the hardest thing I ever went through. Stress in my life and postpartum built up and I finally had to get help. But as far as weight,  I lost a lot in 2016. By the end of 2016 (after my Dads death) to summer of 2019, I gained 70 lbs.  I let myself eat whatever and whenever. I used food to deal with my anxiety or stress. Food made me happy, I used it to dull the pains in my life. For a little over 2 years I was out of control. I was dealing with a lot. The grief of losing my Dad and then 4th pregnancy and post partum psychosis. I was taking medications to help my mind and body regulate back to normal. I was also smoking.

But last year in August, I said enough is enough and I needed to make some changes.
I began by quitting smoking and started going to the gym. I cut out carbs and tried to avoid junk food. I had a good start but by November,  I needed to regroup and find more motivation to gain control of my eating. I kept going and right around March with the beginning of quarantine,  I started in with the snacking and eating to deal with stress. I needed more help, so luckily,  I saw some ads about Noom and gave it a try. It has been amazing. Im so educated now about the psychology and physiological parts of weight loss. Im tracking my food,  im eating wholesome, healthy foods, im building new habits, im exercising every day and have increased the intensity of my workouts.

I've come a long way and I know this time, ill keep going and continue to live a healthy life.

If you ever feel stuck,  look for help, don't give up and know you are strong and can do it!
