Pengoloo Fun at Lainie's Way in Port Jeff

I spent part of Saturday shopping around Port Jeff with my 4 year old.  The candy/ ice cream shop was awesome of course, but we actually had the most fun playing a game of Pengoloo at Lainie's Way.

Lainie's Way is a cute toy store with lots of unique, smart games. They appear to be overpriced but in actuality they are quite competitive.

The woman spent 15 minutes patiently playing and explaining games to my daughter and I so I felt compelled to continue the fun at home. The game is $5-10 over the cost of Amazon but,  with the cost of shipping and the convenience of having the game in hand and knowing I am keeping a 'mom-and-pop' in business, the extra dollars are justified.

Pengoloo is a cute memory game where you have 2 chances to find the correct color eggs under the cute wooden penguins.  I started playing with my daughter and wanted to go more than twice and the woman said, uh-ahh, Mom, you only get to look under 2 penguins. And so, the laughter, competition,  and fun began.  My daughter has so much fun playing with us at home that she doesn't even realize she's learning colors, numbers,  and lighting up her neurons.

So, check out Lainie's Way if you get the chance but definitely buy Pengoloo for your pre-schooler.
