What Life is Like with 4 small children...

Life is beautiful with 4 small children. I feel so blessed and honored to be their mother and I am so grateful we had our 4th baby, Hailey Paige. Hailey truly has completed our family and is an easy baby- thank God she is because we had some colicky babies before and ish can get real hard and real overwhelming, real fast. Now that she is 3 months, sleeping the night and showing her little personality, things have gotten more normal around the house. Sleep is so important and we are lucky we get to sleep. I do need lots of coffee though and I should really work at Starbucks to support my addiction because something in their coffee just gets me going!

Some other words to describe life with 4 small kids- juggling, crazy, fun, wild, rollercoaster, lots of love, sweet, beautiful, amazing, incredible, mind-blowing (Like, we sometimes ask ourselves, did we really have another one? Wow!), tough, exhausting, tiring, long days, …. yet through it all, we persevere as parents and I am lucky to have my Mom, my friends, my nieces, sister in laws, brother in laws, brother, cousins, all close and distant relatives to be there for us- we have one special tribe and it truly does take a village!

I look at the picture of our 4 daughters together and think- is that a picture of a nursery school or daycare advertisement? Nope, they are all ours, LOL... Not too many people have 4 or more kids these days but when you do, you need support. I have found support in a variety of ways including my Facebook group called Super Moms of 4 or more- here is where I can find support from women who truly get it! They are nonjudgmental amazing women who are available around the clock! I also go to counseling, the gym, and talk to many other family members to just laugh. Because the best way to get through some tough times is to laugh! Just like some people laugh at me when they see how many kids I have... well, I laugh too because sometimes it does seem crazy that anyone could or would want more than 1 kid these days... but I absolutely love it. I love my girls so much and I do everything with them in mind. I hope they always know how much I love them and want them to simply be happy forever.

Thanks for reading, and I will write more funny stories about juggling 4 kids when I get the chance!
